It was gorgeous here last weekend (and this weekend for that matter). Bama and I decided to take a little nap on the back deck. What a blue sky!

RIP GOLD
The house that we purchased was covered in gold... gold door knobs, gold hinges, gold light fixtures, gold faucets, gold, gold, gold... well, unfortunately, that's not our style so we've been working towards getting rid of it. We finished the knobs and hinges last week... here is the aftermath. (we're recycling them... I'm sure that someone else will love them) All that we have left now is a gold bathtub faucet (which is being removed next week) and the gold bath faucet in the guest room! Then... NO MORE!
