There are a lot of things you can get for $5.00. The grocery store has all kinds of 5 for $5 deals. You can even buy 500 pieces of $.01 gum. (do they still have those machines?) Countless items at Target and some flowers at Home Depot.

But... Did you know that you can buy a power washer?

Well, leave it to Bobby to find it at a garage sale... and it works like the expensive ones you can buy at Home Depot.

The project for the last few weeks has been the deck. It needed some major TLC. Previous owners 1/2 stained it, if you can call it that but it had worn off in high traffic areas, you could barely walk on it without getting a splinter and well, it just looked horrible.

Before:

Bobby power washed it and sanded the whole thing. We stained it on Father's Day... what he wanted to do during Luke's naps. Well, we got it done and it looks brand new! It even feels sturdier some how. Never underestimate how far $5 can get you!

On another note... Luke is starting to wander a bit... while standing. (if we put something for him to get to :) ) Can you tell me like to celebrate around here???
