Baby...got...bed

We had a great week of getting ready for Baby A. Bobby and I ordered his furniture last Friday. They quoted 4-6 weeks for delivery but they said it often comes in early. I'm hoping for that! It felt really good to just to be able to cross it off the "list". I finished painting the bubbles on one of his walls and LOVE the way that it turned out. It was easier than I thought. I'm surprised it took me that long to just try it. Once I started, it only took a couple hours. My Mom and I spent last Sunday afternoon organizing his closet. This little boy is going to be one of the most stylish guys out there. We'll be lucky if we can get him in each outfit one time before he's too big for them! We're so thankful for all of the clothes that we received as gifts and the ones from my Mom and sister-in-law. He is set!!!

Bobby and I put the pack n' play together last night. This is going to be what the little man sleeps in until he's crib ready. It has a bassinet part on the top so it'll be perfect for him... at least that's the plan! Entering the 3rd trimester is a relief of sorts. Although we want him to keep cooking, I wanted to feel like we'd be ready in case he decided he was done in my tummy.

We have our 28-week appointment next week. After that we start to go every two weeks for awhile. I'm hoping to hear more about what size they think he is. Just curiosity on my part. I'm still feeling great and getting more and more excited to meet him!!!

Baby project for this weekend: Canvas painting for his bathroom with my sister. We checked out some children's books for inspiration. Looking forward to showing how the creative juices were flowing!
