Adventure #1 Zipling outside of Idaho Springs
Not the best location but it was still neat to do. Luckily the other 4 people that were scheduled to go at the same time cancelled so it was just the two of us. Luke got to see each of us do it 3 times. Luke loved being in the mountains.
Adventure #2 First hike to St. Mary's Glacier
We've wanted to take advantage of living in Colorado but weren't sure if the carrier backpack was a good idea. We decided to go ahead and get one and LOVE it! I think Luke may love it even more. Good choice.
It's going to be hard to beat this first hike. The weather was beyond perfect. It was only 3/4 of a mile each way (a great first one) and the destination was breathtaking.
Adventure #3- Ken Caryl Ranch Hike
TOO HOT and NO SHADE! Pretty area but not a smart hike to do in 95 degrees at 11:30 with no shade or breeze...
